<p>PURPOSE:To improve the mobility and the shearing strength of inspection pigs, and facilitate the traveling of inspection pigs having even at a bend part of a pipeline with the complex arrangement by connecting plural inspection pigs with bellows type expansion pipes. CONSTITUTION:An inspecting pig 11 is made of steel body, and a seal cup 2 is fitted to an inspecting pig main body 1a, and each inspecting pig 11 is connected to each other by bellows type expansion pipe 4 as a connector. At this stage, the seal cup 2 is used for securing the differential pressure for accelerating the inspecting pig 11, and the inspecting pig is loaded with a sensor 5, a measurer 6, a memory 7, a battery 8, and a measuring roller 9 or the like. The bellows type expansion pipe 4 as a connector is made of stainless steel and formed into the cylindrical shape having the wall surface like accordion, and flanges 10 for connecting the inspecting pig main body 1a is fitted to both ends thereof.</p> |
