<p>PURPOSE:To heighten correlationability between scanning lines, to improve compressibility. and to obtain a reproducing video with small noise component by compressing/expanding field data comprising a digital video signal as frame data corresponding to a scan timing other than that in jump scan. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with data compressor/expanders 2d1, 2d2 which outputs recording compression data obtained by data-compressing the digital video signal by the JPEG standard and outputs the digital video signal obtained by data-expanding reproducing compression data reproducing the recording compression data by the JPEG standard. The digital video signal is compressed/expanded as every pair of field data comprising the digital video signal and the frame data corresponding to the scan timing other than that in the jump scan. In other words, it is possible to heighten line correlationability and to improve the compressibility and to reduce the noise component when compression is performed by comprising the frame data consisting of an even- numbered field data part and an odd-numbered field data part by the scan timing other than that in the jump scan.</p> |
