PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate and rapid hyperbolic tangent generating device by a compact circuit and the small number of control points. CONSTITUTION:The generating device is provided with an exponential function generating means 1 for outputting the quantity of electricity proportional to the exponential function of the inputted quantity of electricity, an adding means 2 for adding the quantity of electricity outputted from the means 1 to the quantity of electricity corresponding to '1', a dividing means 3 for obtaining the quantity of electricity by dividing the quantity of electricity corresponding to 2/a (provided that (a) is an optional number) by the quantity of electricity outputted from the means 2, and a subtracting means 4 for subtracting the quantity of electricity outputted from the means 3 from the quantity of electricity corresponding to 1/a. |
