PURPOSE:To easily call a cleared copying mode by providing a previous mode restoring means for restoring the previous mode by using one of plural mode keys. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with plural mode keys including ten keys for setting various copying modes, a CPU 21 for returning the set mode to a standard mode and a mode clearing key constituting the previous mode restoring means restoring the previous mode by utilizing one the plural mode keys after returning to the standard mode once. By depressing the mode clearing key during the standard mode and transferring the contents in the area of a RAM 22 storing data in a memory mode, the mode before returning to the standard mode is restored. Thus, by utilizing one of the mode keys constituting the previous mode restoring means, the inadvertently cleared mode or the automatically cleared mode is restored. |
