PURPOSE:To attract user's attention and secure communication quality by detecting an undesirable wave of a narrow-band system included in a communication band, and informing the user that the limit of a permissible range is exceeded or temporarily stopping a communication when the limit of the permissible range is exceeded. CONSTITUTION:A received wave is passed through the path of an A/D converter 14, a Fourier transformer 15, and a CPU 16 to detect the undesirable wave of the narrow-band system. The CPU 16 discriminates between the undesirable wave and a desired wave according to a border value whose level is previously set about received data. Then the sum of data which exceed the border value and the sum of data which do not exceed the border value are compared with each other and the influence of the undesirable wave is decided according to whether or not their ratio exceeds the border value of the permissible range. Then when the constant limit value is exceeded, the CPU 16 generates an alarm tone or make a display to inform the user of a terminal of that, and temporarily stops the communication. Consequently, the user's attention is attracted and the excellent communication quality is secured. |
