<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly execute a return to a normal state by manual operation in the case an abnormality has occurred in the state of rolling during rolling operation. CONSTITUTION:When a loop of a rolled stock 1 that is upward expanded, for example, is generated during rolling operation, a manual operating device 19 is operated by an operator. Then, in a set speed adjusting circuit 25, the output of an integrator 21 is multiplied by the speed set signal from a speed setter 14 and that multiplied result is subtracted from the speed set' signal. Then, a motor 11 is slowed down. The output of an integrator 37 is inputted to a set rolling reduction adjusting circuit 36 and this input is subtracted from the rolling reduction setting signal from a hydraulic rolling reduction setter 33. Then, the roll gap of a rolling mill 5 is increased. By the speed reduction of the motor 11 and the increase of the roll gap of the rolling mill 5, the loop generated in the rolled stock 1 is rapidly absorbed.</p> |
