PURPOSE:To provide an improved ECT device which can set accurately the position of a fault plane. CONSTITUTION:In an ECT device fitted with a rotary scintillation camera, a light projector 8 is mounted on a scintillation camera sensor 3 movably, and the position is sensed by a potentiometer 9 and a position sensor 10. The obtained position signal is passed to a data processing device 5, and the relation with the data given by the sensor 3 is determined.
