PURPOSE:To prevent the drip of dew condensation water by a method wherein a duct paper is made of pulp for paper making, a water resisting strength and a waterdrop drip limit capacity value are set to a value higher than a given value, and a basis weight is set to a value in a given range. CONSTITUTION:A paper for air conditioning duct is made of pulp for paper making, a water resisting strength is set to 0.3kgf/15mm or more, a waterdrop drip limit capacity value to 45g/m<2> or more, and a basis weight to 40-5000g/m<2>. Further, a paper for a duct is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the duct to provide a dew condensation water drip preventing function. It is imperative that the paper for an air conditioning duct has a strength enough to prevent the occurrence of breakage and deformation during installation of the duct. In the so fundamental strength, the basis weight of a paper sheet may exceeds 40g/m<2>. Further, the more a basis weight is increased, the more heat insulating properties are improved and the waterdrop drip limit capacity value is also increased. When a paper sheet has the basis weight of 40g/m<2> or more, proper heat insulating properties are provided and the waterdrop drip limit capacity value can exceed 45g/m<2>. Meanwhile, when the basis weight is too increased, manufacture is difficult to make, a cost is also increased, and workability is worsened, whereby the upper limit of the basis weight is set to 500g/m<2>. |
