PURPOSE:To enable even an unskilled person to efficiently form separate mask plates without errors in the case of different coloring quantities. CONSTITUTION:The original image read by using an input means is displayed on a display means in the method for formation of the masks for printing which forms the mask for printing in accordance with the instruction from a block copy original 11. A coloring image region and coloring information are instructed by an instructing means 12 to the displayed image in accordance with a plate making instruction 12 and the masks varying in the coloring quantities are outputted as the separate masks at the time of outputting the masks divided in colors according to the components of the coloring information. |
