PURPOSE:To enhance workability, in molding a foamed molded product by foaming, expanding and welding prefoamed particles being a raw material, by introducing a preheating process repeating pre-shot cycle a predetermined number of times in a front stage at each time when a molding cycle is started. CONSTITUTION:When the power switch of a foam molding machine A is closed, at first, the preheating program incorporated in a preheating control part 21 is executed in a control part 20 and the counter in the input part 22 for number- of-time of pre-shots in the preheating control part 21 is operated along with the start of the molding operation of a foam molding machine A. A movable projected mold 1 is allowed to approach a fixed recessed mold 2 by the operation of a drive cylinder 11 to close the molds and steam is introduced into steam chambers 1d, 2d through steam pipings 14a, 14b and discharged after a predetermined time to open both molds 1,2. A series of these pre-shot operations are repeated a set number of times to preheat the molds 1,2 and, after the preheating program is completed, main foam molding is performed. |
