PRODUCTION OF GAMMA-POLYGLUTAMIC ACID

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the yield and suppress the production of a by-product in producing theta-polyglutamic acid expectable of utilization in the field of medicines, foods, cosmetics, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective method for producing theta-polyglutamic acid is to include 1-10wt./vol.% glutamic acid, 1-10wt./vol.% citric acid and 0.1-2wt./ vol.% ammonium sulfate in a culture medium in fermenting and producing the theta-polyglutamic acid by using a microorganism which is a strain requiring biotin and belongs to the genus Bacillus.
