PURPOSE:To execute the delay updating the processing like retrieval in parallel during the processing of an information system with respect to the data base for simultaneous execution of two or more kinds of processing. CONSTITUTION:This system includes a basic system processing part 301 which performs a transaction processing 310 and an information system processing part 302 which performs a retrieval processing 308 or the like of the generated data base. Data generated and updated by the transaction processing of the basic system processing parted 301 is stored in an area A 303, and generation and updated data of the area 303 A is stored in a log area 304, and the same data base as the area A in the basic system is stored in areas 305 B1 and 306 B22 of the information system processing part 302. A delay update processing part 307 reads out data from the log area 304 and updates data in the area B1 or B2 by log contents. A switching control part 309 in the information system alternately selects areas B1 and B2 and the storage area of a delay update part 307 by switching at intervals of a certain time to update data by log at intervals of two hours.
