PURPOSE:To prolong the duration of high dust colletion efficiency and to improve reliability by connecting a specified electric resistance between an ionizer and a DC high voltage generation part. CONSTITUTION:The resistance of 300KOMEGA-40KOMEGA is connected between the ionizer 3 and the DC high voltage generation part 2 in serial or the difference of output power at non-load time and low cost load duration time is set to be 0.5KV-3KV. An output voltage change rate against the change of load current is set to be large and the change of load current owing to load fluctuation is reduced. When high resistant particles are adhered to an electrode part and the current of the ionizer 3 is reduced, the shared voltage of the serial resistance and the ionizer 3 becomes high and the reduction of the current of the ionizer 3 is to be suppressed. Thus, dust collection efficiency is maintained. Namley, ionizer current I is reduced, the voltage E2 of the serial resistance R drops and the voltage E1 of the ionizer 3 becomes high when the resistance RL of the ionizer 3 becomes high. Thus, the dust collection efficiency of an air cleaner is always stabilized and high reliability can be obtained. |
