<p>PURPOSE:To prevent heat from radiating from the outer shell of a device and thermal efficiency from lowering by a method wherein the device concerned is equipped with an inner and an outer containers so as to perform evacuating operation under the state that both the containers are communicated with each other and hot pressing is performed under the condition that vacuum region is formed between the containers by disengaging the communication. CONSTITUTION:The hot pressing device 1 concerned consists of an inside container 3, in which an inner mechanism for pressing is housed, and an outside container 5, in which the container 3 is housed. The inner mechanism has a movable platen 23 at the tip of a ram 19, which is raised and lowered with a hydraulic cylinder 17 and a fixed platen 37 so as to thermally form material to be worked under the condition being pressingly pinched between the platens 23 and 37. By respectively closing shutters 45 and vacuum shutters 83, the respective containers 3 and 5 are turned into two independent airtight containers. After that, by opening the shutters 45 and vacuumizing the containers with an evacuating means and, after that, by closing the shutters 45, vacuum region is produced between the containers 3 and 5 in order to perform hot pressing, resulting in preventing heat from radiating from the outer shell of the device.</p> |
