SLIDER FOR SLIDE FASTENER WITH AUTOMATIC STOPPER

PURPOSE:To provide a slider for a slide fastener provided with a function capable of automatically stopping the slider in a linear slide fastener having a leg of a fastener element covered with a blade or the like. CONSTITUTION:A slider body 1 has an upper blade plate 2 and lower blade plate interconnected by a guide column 4 and a thin projecting streak 6 provided inside the upper blade plate 2 to guide an end of the blade covering a leg of a fastener element and slide on the upper surface of a meshing head of the fastener element. An elevated surface 7 lower than the projecting streak 6 is provided on both sides of the projecting streak 6 close to the guide column 4 side to slide on the blade for pressing the fastener element. A leaf spring 8 provided with an automatic stopping function is arranged on the surface of the upper blade plate 2 and the tip of the leaf spring is formed as a stopping claw 9 which is inserted between the projecting streak 6 and elevated surface 7 to stop automatically the slide of the slider.
