PURPOSE:To provide a belt driving device which can prolong the life of a belt by suppressing crack and has the stable traveling performance by preventing undulation. CONSTITUTION:The first stage difference 41 where the contact region (b) of a reinforcing member 41 has the smaller diameter than that in the center region (a) is formed on a cleaning opposed roller 21b. The stage difference 41 is formed to the heught H1 larger than the thickness of the reinforcing member 40. Further, since the life of an intermediate copying belt 19 is reduced by the formation of a streak shaped scar because of the edge and burrs at an angular part, at the stage difference 41, the shape of the angular part is formed to a roundness having a radius of 0.05-0.3mm. |
