PURPOSE:To make yet more highly accurate four-wheel steering control achievable by performing a job for control conformed to a state change at car traveling. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 4 is installed at the setup side of a left front wheel 2 and a right front wheel 3 while another acceleration sensor 7 is installed at the setup side of a left rear-wheel 5 and a right rear-wheel 6 likewise. A control means of a four-wheel steering controller judges the extent of turnability and the turning center of a car on the basis of cross acceleration at the front--wheel side detected by the acceleration sensor 4 and another cross acceleration at the rear-wheel side detected by the acceleration sensor 7, thereby compensating the value of a rear-wheel steering angle, and a state quantity is fed back, whereby highly accurate four-wheel steering control being yet higher than that in the past is performed. |
