PURPOSE:To simplify operations on the sides of transmission and reception and to receive facsimile data by using printers or extension facsimiles connected to a network even at a place where no computer is installed. CONSTITUTION:When facsimile data are received by a facsimile data reception part 11, a facsimile electronic mail system 1 calculates the destination by a destination discriminating part 12 according to a received phone number attached to the data. When the destination is any printer, the facsimile data are dispatched to a printer output part 14 and when it is any facsimile, the data are dispatched to a facsimile output part 15. A mail preparation part 13 defines the facsimile data as the contents of mail, and a mail transmission part 16 transmits them to a designated user by the mail. A printer output part 14 outputs the facsimile data to the designated printer. A facsimile output part 15 outputs the data to the designated phone number by the facsimile.
