PURPOSE:To vary a nozzle diameter without changing the nozzle at the time of newly processing a workpiece which is different in the kinds of process (cutting, welding, heat treatment, etc.) and in material, thickness, etc. CONSTITUTION:A processing head is constituted of a body 3 on which a lens 2 for condensing laser beam 1 is loaded, a nozzle holder 7 that is fixed on the body 3, and a variable nozzle 11 which is loaded on the nozzle holder 7 and whose diameter is variable. By moving the variable nozzle 11 upward and downward, the diameter of the nozzle hole is varied. |
