PURPOSE:To provide a compact, high-speed, high-efficiency reluctance motor by having two salient poles for a magnetic rotor and giving slot windings for stator, by converting magnetic energy with static energy of a small-capacity capacitor as medium and by controlling an armature current by a chopper circuit. CONSTITUTION:Rotor 1 comprises two poles of salient poles 1a and 1b, coils are wound around 12 slots of fixed armatures 16, and armature coils for the first, second and third phases are formed, a switching transistor is connected to the armature coil of each phase, and current application control is performed by position detection signal. At this time, accumulated magnetic energy of the armature for converting to non-conductance is applied to a small-capacity capacitor for storage, drop in a current applied to the armature coil is made rapidly, this stored static energy is allied to the next armature coil, and its rise is performed rapidly. Also, the current applied is held to a predetermined value by a chopper circuit and constant speed control is performed. |
