PURPOSE:To provide a lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte which improves conventional problems including low chemical stability causing low conductivity or reduction of conductivity. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte aLi3 PO4.bLi2S.cX.dZ wherein a+b+c+d=1, X is one or more kinds of sulfides selected from SiS2, GeS2, P2S5 and B2S3, and Z is plural kinds of lithium halides, is obtd. by mixing plural kinds of lithium halides with an amorphous compd. expressed by a'Li3PO4.b'Li2S.c'X wherein a'+b'+c'=1 and X is one or more kinds of sulfides selected from SiS2, GeS2, P2S5 and B2S3, then heating and melting the mixture, followed by rapid cooling.
