DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DATA TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To inexpensively transmit digital data by using the transmission line of a video signal in satellite communication. CONSTITUTION:A digital signal 100 is transmitted in a video signal transmission period 203 in a horizontal period 201 that is one period of a video composite signal. The digital signal 100 is comprised of BTR(Bit Timing Recovery) 101 that is a synchronizing signal to synchronize with the clock of data transmitter- receiver at data reception equipment. SON(Start Of Message) 102 that is a signal pattern representing whether the digital data in a data part 103 is valid or invalid, and the data part 103 that is the digital data to be transmitted. The digital data can be transmitted by using the repeater of an artificial satellite by the video composite signal including the digital signal 100.
