The seed regulator is constructed around the seed hopper (1), which has at its lowest point, an opening (12), which allows the seed to flow into the transfer tube. At the mouth of the transfer tube is mounted the seed distributor (2,3) and this transfers the seeds from the hopper to the transfer tube, via the regulator. The regulator consists of a regulator wheel (4), with a peripheral V-shaped groove (40). The angle (u) at the base of the 'V' of the groove is an acute angle, suitable to align different sized seeds, one after the other, and to drive them through the transfer neck (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - It ensures that the seeds are regularly spaced and aligned, whatever their dimensions.
