PURPOSE:To eliminate uncomfortable feeling given to a driver at the time of release of automatic braking control by carrying out operation for recovering to normal engine control in the condition that there is no blowing-up state, even if it is judged that the possibility of the vehicle coming in contact with an obstacle ahead has been avoided. CONSTITUTION:The control unit 33 of an automatic transmission 16, the control unit 49 of an automatic control device, and a traction control unit 103 are provided respectively in a vehicle (A), and also connected to a whole control unit 113. Proper adjustment control is effected among respective control units, by the whole control unit 113. Namely, a fuel injection valve 56 is controlled in drive through an injection valve controller 58. On the other hand, when it is judged that relative relation between an own vehicle and a front obstruction is in dangerous condition, automatic braking and controlling operation is allowed to make interruption to be carried out, by the automatic braking control unit 49. In this case, even if it is judged that possibility of own vehicle coming in contact with a front obstruction is avoided, recovering operation to normal engine control in which there is no blowing-up condition is carried out.
