The saw mechanism (3) and the second processing tool (6) are slidable opposite the work piece receiving table. The drive (5) for the second processing tool is on the work piece table side of the tool and is located on the guide (9) in the forward sliding direction. The saw mechanism and the drive are both arranged on slides (11,12) and are slidable on parallel running guides (9,10). The guide (9) for the drive is a bridge type and that (10) for the saw lies underneath the working area.
