A closed cylindrical filter (15) extracts contaminants from the air driven by a fan (14) through a housing (1) with inlet and outlet covers (2, 3) secured by clips (4). The inlet cover (2) incorporates an integrated cyclone filter (7) for dust extn. and opt. a heat exchanger. Openings for cables, mechanical or pneumatic control and measuring lines, are provided between the inlet and outlet covers. The outlet cover (3) discharges air from a central port (6) in a space contg. measurement instruments e.g. a differential pressure indicator (10) and a detector (11) of pollutants. A carrying handle (16) is secured to the housing. ADVANTAGE - Contains all important equipment for air decontamination but is easily assembled and dismantled by operators without specialised knowledge.
