The flasher light has an inner reflector half (12) and an outer reflector half (13) whose partial light beam (13') is directed at an acute angle with respect to the longitudinal central plane (15) of the vehicle and as a result is superimposed in certain sections on the partial light beam (12'). On the outside, the partial light beam (13') does not go beyond that point (16) on the lens (11) from which the corresponding lens section produces uncontrolled light. A widening (18) of the lens (11) and an offset (17) of the housing (10) permit the partial light beam (13') to emerge freely. As a result, in particular in the front flasher lights with a highly curved lens (11) which is set back to a large degree the required light values are obtained using simple technical means.
