Contaminated ground sealing - by injecting montan wax emulsion to form sealing layers to prevent escape of toxic material

For the redevelopment of contaminated areas, esp. from rubbish dumps with random hazardous matter, a mining wax emulsion is introduced into the contaminated area and/or in the fluid permeable layers of the ground and/or layers and cracks and crevices. USE/ADVANTAGE - The technique is for the recovery of ground soiled by seepage from rubbish dumps and similar contamination. The contaminated area is sealed so that any toxic matter cannot escape into the ambient atmosphere or into the ground water.
