Material which can be cast or spread is mfd. from quartcite powder or quartz dust, Na gluconate and Na water glass. The Na gluconate produces more rapid hardening and can be used as an addn. to standard cement mixtures, also increasing straight and hardness. Reinfocrement of metal, plastics, glass fibre etc. can be included and the material can be foamed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Housing for sources of noise, proving excellent insulation, max strength, min. brittleness.
