O3 in air is reduced before the air is inhaled by passing the air through a water reservoir, e.g. 30x25x8 cm, which is half-filled with water. A tube passes down into the water from the top of the reservoir and a further tube connects to the air space, a hose leading from the latter tube to a respiration mask. ADVANTAGE - Redn. of potential lung damage.
