<p>A method for providing control of the devices (6) of an electromechanical locking system including a plurality of electromechanically controlled locking units, control means, registration means or the like devices (6), which are each connected via a programmable attachment unit to a common data transmission bus (8), the attachment unit being adapted to transit, receive and process messages, especially control commands. A control message is transmitted through the data transmission bus (8) to all the locking units and devices (6) in the system and is provided with an identifier part adapted for the transmitting locking unit or device (6) to be controlled. Each attachment unit is provided with a control data register, into which register is put identification data of those devices (6), which are authorised to control the locking unit or device (6) attached to the attachment unit in each case, whereby identification of a control message and execution of the operations implied by that message is determined in each attachment unit on the basis of the identifier part of said transmitting device (6) and control data preprogrammed in the control data register. <IMAGE></p> |
