Oil drainage system for scrap vehicles - uses striker bolt to force hole in sump or gear box case

Oil drainage system having a striker bolt (6) fitted inside a bell-shaped cover (4) sealingly placed against the wall (5) of an oil container. A bolt firing device (7) allows a hole (12) to be made in the container wall. The oil to be removed flows through the hole via a pipe (9) into an oil receiving container (10) held under vacuum. USE/ADVANTAGE - Oil drainage system allows oil to be drained from scrap vehicle without environmentally harmful spillage and without need to undo seized-up drainage screws.
