The contact four-part electrode for cardiomonitors consists of two electrically conductive insulation arms (1, 2) at whose ends their are ECG electrodes (3, 4, 5, 6), which are mechanically and conductively connected to press buttons (7, 8, 9, 10), whereas both electrically conductive insulated arms (1, 2) are mechanically connected in the centre and the press buttons (7, 8, 9, 10) are situated so that the contact parts of the press buttons (7, 8, 9, 10) are part of the surfaces of the ECG electrodes (3, 4, 5, 6). Preferably the contact four-part electrode can be designed with a different length for the electrically conductive insulated arms (1, 2), where one electrically conductive insulated arm (1) is longer than the second one (2).<IMAGE>
