Two flexible tabular drive units (3, 4) are each equipped from their vertical sides with one vertical shaft (9, 10), where the first vertical shaft (9), fitted in the first bearing set (11, 12), is fixed to the stator part of the reversible rotary drive unit (2), whose rotary part is firmly connected through the rotor shaft (5) to the first transmission gear (6), which is connected to the second transmission gear through the gear element (7). This second transmission gear (8) is firmly fixed to the second vertical shaft (10) of the second drive unit (4), pivoted together with the second vertical shaft (10) in the second bearing set (13, 14). A steering disc (15) is arranged with clearance on the rotor shaft (5) by its centre hole. The disc (15) is pivoted in the horizontal duct (16) of the body frame (1) of the vessel, and joined at both ends with one of the torsion springs (17, 18), of which the first torsion spring (17) has its other end firmly fixed to the stator part of the reversible rotary drive unit (2) and the second torsion spring (18) has its other end firmly fixed to the first transmission gear (6).<IMAGE>
