PURPOSE:To record an image at a high speed by low output laser beam in a thermal recording material capable of performing double-sided recording by laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material for laser recording has a base, each side of which is provided with a thermal layer containing at least a basic dye precursor, a developer and an infrared-absorbing, and recording is applied simultaneously to both sides of the recording material. By this constitution, thermal recording of high image quality can be performed at a high speed by a small-sized laser and, since the recording quantity per the base becomes twice conventional one, this recording material contributes to the conservation of resources. |
