PURPOSE:To obtain stockings resistant to rapid lowering of antibacterial property by washing and capable of keeping the antibacterial property over a long period by knitting stockings with an antibacterial nylon yarn produced by adding an antibacterial material in a stage before spinning. CONSTITUTION:Zeolite-type solid particles (preferably type A zeolite, etc.) holding an antibacterial metal ion such as silver ion and copper ion supported on the particle and having a specific surface area of >=150m<2>/g and a constituent SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of <=11 are mixed to a nylon resin in an amount of 0.05-10wt.% before spinning and the antibacterial nylon resin is spun to obtain an antibacterial nylon yarn 2. The objective stockings can be produced by using a double-covered yarn 20 composed of a core yarn containing the antibacterial nylon yarn 2 as at least a part of the core yarn and a covering yarn double- covering the core yarn. |
