PURPOSE:To achieve computer control and obtain a vibration wave motor control circuit with a high resolution regardless of a small-scale circuit configuration by constituting a circuit where pulse width is changed with a digital circuit and then instructing pulse width based on the total pulse width of a plurality of pulses. CONSTITUTION:When continuous arbitrary specification codes for instructing minimum pulse width - maximum pulse width are set to Pk (k=0, 1, 2,..., n), the total of pulse width of a plurality of pulses is set to Sm {m=0, 1,..., (r-1)}, an arbitrary offset value is set to b, a value which is obtained by discarding places of a value which is expressed by (k+m+b)r is set to a, the number of drive phases is set to r, and then a pulse width which can be set to a plurality of pulses is set to Wml (m=0, 1,..., (r-1) (l=0, 1,...), a function for setting the pulse width Sm for each width to Wma is provided at a pulse width setting circuit 28, thus obtaining a vibration wave motor control circuit with a high resolution regardless of a small-scale circuit configuration. |
