PURPOSE:To judge relationship of band components instantaneously by displaying an intensity level for one of the band components of a brain wave as reference intensity level while values added with a value obtained by subtracting the intensity level of the one band component from the reference level is displayed for other band components. CONSTITUTION:In a controller 8, a brain wave signal detected by a brain wave detection means 6 is inputted into a microcomputer 97 via a gain converter 95 or the like from an input terminal 90 and the input signal is divided into band components as beta wave, FAST alpha wave. SLOW alpha wave and beta wave to indicate potential levels thereof, namely, the intensity levels of the respective bands. Moreover, the microcomputer 97 controls the potential level of the band set with a console 100 to the position of a reference level Y on a bar graph of a display device 7 to be displayed on the display device 7 through a drive circuit 98. The microcomputer 97 also controls a gain converter 95 so as to correct display level sensitivity of each band of the display device 7 automatically. |
