<p>PURPOSE:To provide a tape running device preventing the pulling looseness of a tape due to the spring force of a tension arm even when power source is turned off while the tape of a VTR is running and thereafter power source is turned on and the brake of a reel motor is released. CONSTITUTION:When power source is turned off while the tape of the VTR is running, mechanical brakes 7, 8 are applied to the reel motors 5, 6 and the tape is not loosened. Thereafter, when power source is turned on and a pulse is supplied to a system controller 21 from a power-on pulse generator 20, by the controller 21, the tension value of a tension senser 3 is detected and torque is supplied to the reel motor through a reel motor driving device 22 according to the tension value. After torque is supplied, a signal attaching/detaching the brakes 7, 8 is sent to a mechanism brake driver 23 and thereafter the supplied torque value is controlled so as to be reduced.</p> |
