PURPOSE:To prevent environmental pollution based on disposal treatment of ash and harmful gas or the like by providing the housing part of molten ash and providing a gas circulating pipe so that one end thereof is connected to the upper end part of the ascending part of high-temperature gas and the other end is connected to the vicinity of the aperture part of a hearth part for melting ash and unburned material contained in high-temperature gas is reburned. CONSTITUTION:Ash is supplied to the aperture part of a hearth part 7 for melting ash which is opened in the lower end part of a furnace body 3. Ash is melted by a plurality of multi arc flames generated by a plurality of polyphase AC type multielectrodes 9. The hearth part 7 is formed as a circular space part so as to lower the ceiling in a horizontal shape. The ascending part 11 of high-temperature gas is provided so that the high-temperature gas is raised to the upper direction from the central part of the hearth part 7. A holding part 13 for holding melt of ash is provided in the lower direction from the central part of the hearth part 7. A gas circulating pipe 15 is provided so that one end thereof is connected to the upper end part of the ascending part 11 of high-temperature gas and the other end is connected to the vicinity of the aperture part of the hearth part 7. Thereby the unburned material contained in high-temperature gas is reburned.
