PURPOSE:To make possible the press to handle the large product as compared with the size of the press, by giving an angle of inclination against the feeding direction to the carried material, in the clamping/unclamping motion of the transfer feed of the press. CONSTITUTION:In case of a large product to be handled, the center line of the die is inclined against the center line of the press head 2. Similarly, the center line of the auxiliary slider 8 freely rotatable around the reciprocating slider 5 is inclined against the center line of the slider 5, and the center line of the die and the center line of the slider 8 are set so as to be approximately parallel. By operating under this condition, the feed bar 6, freely rotatably held by the block 10 being freely slidably guided by the slider 8, pictures the parallelogrammatic locus. And the clamp unit 13, being connected to the bar keeper 12 freely slidably holding the bar 6, gives motions of the clamp (a), the advance (b), the unclamp (c), and the return (d). |
