PURPOSE:To install an additional unit to a wiring device as necessary by constituting the wiring device of a basic unit for connecting prefixed switches and loads and an additional unit for connecting additional switches and loads. CONSTITUTION:A basic unit A has a connecting section 2c for connecting power supply cables from a distribution board, a plurality of connecting sections 2a and 2b for connecting switches and loads which are turned on/off through the switches, and an internal circuit which supplies electric power to the loads through the switches and is formed of conductive plates 45 incorporated in the unit A. The unit A is provided with a connecting section 2d for connecting a plurality of feeder lines so that power supply can be made to, for example, an additional unit B. A switching circuit 1a turns on/off the loads through the switches. A feed circuit 1b is used for power supply shunting feeder lines. The additional unit B is fundamentally has the same structure as that of the basic unit A and can connect pluralities of switches and loads even when the number of equipment, etc., used in a room increases. |
