PURPOSE:To carry out accurately switching of a slit of an aperture which adjusts a light emission quantity from an LD, selection of starting pixel density information at the begining in making a power source, judgement for normal switching of the slit, etc., in an image forming device capable of printing in a plurality of kinds of pixel density. CONSTITUTION:An operating part which adjusts a light emitting quantity of another slit by referring to the light emitting quantity of the minimum slit among a plurality of slits of an aperture is provided to a CPU 21 of a control circuit. A plurality of pieces of pixel density information which starts firstly in making a power source is stored in a nonvolatile memory 29 and a push switch 31 which can select it optionally is provided. Further, an operation panel 30 which displays whether or not switching of the slit is normally carried out, is provided. |
