MEMBERSHIP FUNCTION GENERATING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To increase the level of the output signal of a membership function generating circuit up to the level of the power voltage or so in a simple circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:A resistance 3 is connected in series to a C-MOS inverter consisting of a 1st P-MOSFET 1 and a 1st N-MOSFET 2 which have their threshold value and W/L set at each prescribed level. Then the input signal obtained from a sensor, etc., is applied to the common gate of both MOSFET 1 and 2. The connection point A between the resistance 3 and the C-MOS inverter is connected to the gate of at least one of a 2nd P-MOSFET 4 and a 2nd N-MOSFET 5 having their threshold value and W/L set at each prescribed level. Then a membership function signal is outputted from a connection point B between both MOSFET 4 and 5.
