PURPOSE:To make it possible to form an image by another image forming means in place of the following case even when the image forming can not be performed by one of an image forming means among a plurality of different systems and to attempt to perform space saving and low cost. CONSTITUTION:A means detecting selected image forming means (III, IV) or a worable condition of this recording material carrying means (II) and a means wherein the selected image forming means (III, IV) or image forming based on this means (III, IV) and the recording material carrying means (II) are switched and an image forming based on other image forming means (IV, III) is performed, are provided. |
