PURPOSE:To make a bathtub main body itself be a sounding source, and save the installation cost to attach speakers on the wall surface, etc., of a bathroom by adopting a constitution in which sounding units are provided on the side wall surface of the bathtub main body. CONSTITUTION:A bathtub is constituted in such a manner that an inner peripheral side wall surface 51a of a bathtub 51 of a bathtub main body 5 made of a plastic such as FRP or artificial marble, etc., is formed into a planar elliptic or circular shape such as oval shape or egg shape. The attaching locations of sounding units 6, 6 arranged on both right and left outer side wall surfaces 5a, 5b of the bathtub main body 5 are set, to be symmetrical to the longitudinal axis, e.g. in the case of a planar form of egg shape, in a range which is from the position being inside by 1/10 of a length L of the longitudinal axis from the foot side end in the longitudinal direction to 4/10 of the length L of the longitudinal axis and, in addition, in a range which is upper 1/2 of a depth D of the bathtub 51. By this constitution, nodes are not generated, and the transmission property of vibration is increased, and reproduction with high fidelity to middle and high tones can be performed. |
