<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sorter enabling the decrease of an installation space in the case of being used jointly with an image forming device and also enabling easy jam disposal. CONSTITUTION:A sorter is provided with a case 43a with plural bins 44 disposed vertically at specified spaces apart, and an opening/closing lid 43b having an approximately vertical paper discharge passage communicated with the paper discharge port 7 of an image forming device body 1 is closely connected to one side face of the case 43a. The opening/closing lid 43b is provided with plural deflection claws 48 and plural paper discharge rollers 45 disposed between the paper discharge path 46 and one ends of the bins 44, and the case 43a of the sorter 43 is disposed below the image forming device body 1 so as to reduce an installation space. At the time of jam disposal, the opening/closing lid 43b is opened to throw open wide around the paper discharge rollers 45 and deflection claws 48, so that jam disposal can be performed very easily.</p> |
