摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material having an almost white background and capable of performing thermal recording of high quality at a high speed in a non-contact state by infrared laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A coating solution containing a microcapsule containing at least a basic dye precursor and an emulsion prepared by dissolving a developer and an infrared absorbing dye in an org. solvent hardly soluble or insoluble in water to disperse and emulsify them is applied to a support to provide a thermal layer on the support.
