PURPOSE:To edit the procedure and to store the edited result onto a file by extracting test items required for a re-test, a test procedure and program correction information from a database so as to execute automatically the program correction and the re-test. CONSTITUTION:The system for the method is provided with a test item database 1, a test procedure file database 2 and a patch information database 3, a re-test item extract section 4 writes all fault end items, a test item number to each item, a test procedure file name and a patch file number from the test item database 1 onto a management table of a re-test procedure file generating section 5, the re-test procedure file generating section 5 analyzes each item of the management table, extracts required patch information based on a path file number corresponding to the fault end item from the patch information database 3 and writes it to a re-test procedure file 6 and writes the relevant content of the test procedure file to the re-test procedure file 6 when the write of the patch information to the file 6 is finished. |
