PURPOSE: To adjust the character weight of an outline font. CONSTITUTION: In the outline font character weight adjusting method, each straight line or curved segment 12 in a character 10 is plotted by two end control points and each curved segment 12-2 is plotted at least one intermediate control point. The method includes a process for adjusting character weight by using a straight line plotted by two control points and a straight line obtained by offsetting the original straight line in parallel only by a prescribed distance in a prescribed direction. |
